At BIT Milano, during the presentation of Il Libro Possibile's London stage, Pegah Moshir Pour and Carlo Cottarelli announced their new books coming out this spring.

An exclusive preview reserved for Il Libro Possibile, confirming the festival's role as a cultural platform capable of showcasing and anticipating the season's major publishing releases.

Both works will be presented in July at the festival's Puglia venues, in Polignano a Mare and Vieste.

Pegah Moshir Pour – La casa dimenticata / The Forgotten House (Garzanti, Spring 2026)

Following the success of La notte sopra Teheran, Pegah Moshir Pour returns with a novel that weaves together memory, identity and civil resistance. The protagonist Shady discovers, through her grandfather's diary and a mysterious key, a past of freedom and cultural ferment erased by repression. In a house steeped in memory, a space for dialogue emerges among women from different backgrounds, united by the same desire for freedom.

Carlo Cottarelli – L'economia spiegata a tutti. Tutto quello che dovremmo sapere sul denaro e su come muove il mondo / Economics Explained for Everyone. Everything We Should Know About Money and How It Moves the World (Solferino, April 2026)

Carlo Cottarelli presents a new accessible guide built on a simple premise: everyday questions are the key to truly understanding economics. Starting from concrete questions—the ones each of us asks while reading the news or paying taxes—the internationally renowned economist offers well-documented, comprehensible answers, explaining the mechanisms that govern tax pressure, unemployment, prices, mortgages, investments and growth.
