Graduated in literature, from 1986 to 1987 she worked as an "editor" for the monthly magazine of Alitalia "Ulisse 2000".
From 1987 to 1989 she was in London as an "editor" for the fortnightly magazine "W", published by the publisher Kevin Kelly in collaboration with Condè Nast.
From 1988 to 1989 she collaborated with the magazines "Interiors", "Tatler" and with the weekly "Panorama"; furthermore, in 1988, she became Head of Service for the "culture" of the monthly "Perspective" published by the publisher Kevin Kelly in collaboration with Condè Nast.
From 1989 to 1991 she was at Rai and collaborated, as a correspondent in London and in the south of Italy, with Tg3 and with the weekly "Samarcanda" by Michele Santoro and Giovanni Mantovani.
In 1996 she moved to the Press Office, within the External and International Relations Department, where she was permanently hired in 1997.
In 1998 she was assigned to the "Politico-Parlamentare" editorial team of the Rai-Giornale Radio newspaper. She followed Francesco Rutelli's electoral campaign as a correspondent. With Andrea Covotta (head of Rai Quirinale) she wrote "I Cattolici e l'Ulivo" - publisher Donzelli.
In 2005 for the Giornale Radio she was sent to London after the terrorist attack on the subway. She hosted the in-depth program on Radio1 "Il Baco del Millennio" edited by Piero Dorfles.
In 2007 she was promoted to Head of Service and in the same year she was assigned to the "Politics" editorial team of Tg1 where she followed, as a political reporter, the Prodi government, the birth of the Monti government, the electoral campaign and the 2013 elections, the birth of the Letta government. She followed Palazzo Chigi under the presidencies of Letta, Renzi and Gentiloni. For the intense activity carried out in 2012 she was awarded the Losardo Prize.
In 2017 she was appointed Chief Editor in charge of the "Politics" editorial team of Tg1 and remained at the helm until February 2022; she followed the Gentiloni, Conte 1, Conte 2, Draghi governments and related electoral campaigns.
From June 2022 she was entrusted with the role of correspondent for radio and television news services from the United Kingdom, at the London office; from the following August she was transferred from Rome to London.
