Philip Ball

Philip Ball, an English chemist and physicist, is internationally known as an author of popular science essays. He was a long-time editor of the prestigious journal ‘Nature’, for which he is still an editorial consultant. Among his numerous works, Italy has published H2O. A Biography of Water (2003), Colour, a Biography (2004) and Elements (2008). The City of Sun and Moon is his first novel.
